About

The Just Peachy 5k in Palisade offers a 10K (6.2 miles) and a 5K (3.1 miles). Organized by the Grand Junction Sports Commission, it is a friendly community race suited to families, beginners and anyone looking for a challenge.

On August 15, 2027, the 10K starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K at 8:45 a.m. Traditionally tied to the Palisade Peach Fest, the event was rescheduled to ease the workload on local first responders. Participants receive an event T-shirt, a finisher medal, peaches and other goodies. Cash prizes go to the top three men and women, along with age group awards, and proceeds benefit the Palisade fire and police departments.
