The July 4th Run 5K/10K/13.1 AUSTIN/ROUNDROCK celebrates American independence in Austin on July 4, 2027, with a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a 10K (6.2 miles), a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 1-mile Family Fun Run (1.6 km), all starting at 7:30 a.m.

The event is open to all abilities and ages (minors must be accompanied by a guardian). There are no timing chips, which keeps things relaxed and focused on personal goals. Participants receive a race T-shirt, a towel or finisher gift, a finisher medal, a digital training pack, access to online results and a certificate of completion. Runners are also invited to connect with local running clubs, and the virtual option comes with digital tools to enhance the race experience.
