The Judgment Day Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Run/Walk takes place in Bakersfield on October 3, 2027. The half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) and the 10K start at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K at 7:40 a.m., all from Sam Lynn Ballpark. The route follows the Kern River Trail, alternating dirt paths and paved sections, with noticeable climbs and open views over the valley.

The half's varied terrain rules out metronome-steady pacing, while the 5K is a fast out-and-back, suited to a first race or a fast-time attempt. Aid stations are spread along the course.
