The Joyrun takes place in Olathe on September 25, 2027, with a 5K, a 1-mile run and a 1-mile walk, all starting at 9 a.m. It is held to support JoyKC, a nonprofit that offers faith-based programs for teens and adults with disabilities in Kansas City.

Participants can fundraise individually or as a team. Registration includes a T-shirt, and leashed dogs are welcome. A post-race party follows for participants, with free giveaways.
