The Journal Jog 8K is a long-running family event in Reno, known as the area's oldest running race, held on August 22, 2027, with the 8K (5 miles) run and walk starting at 7:30 a.m. It welcomes all levels and gives parents a rare chance to race with strollers.

The flat, fast course winds through scenic, historic southwest Reno, starting and finishing at Reno High School. Participants can run, walk or join the stroller division, making for an inclusive experience for everyone.
