About

The Johnson Branch Legacy Run offers a unique endurance experience in Ray Roberts Lake State Park in Valley View, Texas, on September 18, 2027, celebrating 30 years of community and outdoor recreation. Participants choose between a 15K trail run, a 10K ruck march and a 5K paved road race, suited to different levels. The ruck march starts at 7:30 a.m., and the trail run and 5K at 7:45 a.m.

Every event includes a finisher medal or patch and a race shirt, with awards for the top finishers in each age group and division. The race promotes sustainability by going cupless, so participants must bring their own hydration. Aid stations will offer drinks and snacks along with safety supplies.
