Jay's Hope Trek or Treat

Jay's Hope Trek or Treat is held in Macon, Georgia, on October 31, 2026, at the Bass Pro Shops site. The chip-timed 5K run and walk covers 3.1 miles and starts at 8:00 a.m., alongside a children's unSpooky sprint and a Candy Mile, with timing handled by Event Tech Timing.

Runners, walkers, strollers and leashed dogs are all welcome, which is worth planning for at the start line. Stroller and dog pairs should line up behind the racing runners, both for safety and so nobody spends the first half mile weaving. If you are pushing a stroller, expect to run twenty to forty seconds per mile slower than usual and steer with one hand rather than two. Costumes are encouraged, so choose something that will not overheat once you are three miles in.
