Istria 100 by UTMB®

Istria 100 by UTMB® takes place in Istria, Croatia, with its base in Umag, from 2 to 4 April 2027, offering trail races of 21 km, 42 km, 69 km, 110 km and 168 km. Istria sits at the crossroads of Latin, Slavic and Mediterranean influences, between the Adriatic Sea, rolling hills and medieval villages. The event is part of the official UTMB World Series and is held in spring, a good time of year to explore the region's trails.

The routes cross the Istrian hinterland through forests, karst hills, dirt tracks and technical sections before reaching areas close to the coast. Several start towns, from seaside resorts to historic hilltop villages, punctuate the courses, which also pass vineyards and medieval villages that reflect local traditions. Istrian cuisine, influenced by both the Mediterranean and Central Europe, is part of the experience. The longest race, the 168K, covers 168.2 km with 7,140 m of elevation gain.
