About

The Hotter N' Hell Trail Race takes place in Pelham, Alabama, on July 17, 2027, with an 18 Miler (29 km) and a 9 Miler (14.5 km), both starting at 7:00 a.m. The longer course winds along forest trails through varied wooded scenery, with a natural feel along the whole route.

As the name suggests, the race is run in serious heat, typical of summer in the Southern United States. This mid-distance trail format suits runners used to forest trails and to managing their effort in high temperatures, in a natural setting near Birmingham.
