The Hot Springs Half Marathon takes place in Hot Springs, Arkansas, in late January, at 8:00 a.m. It is a 13.1-mile trail race in Hot Springs National Park, with wooded trails and mountain views.

The route uses the Northwoods Trails and Cedar Glades Park, giving runners a chance to see this historic area. Participants receive a premium long-sleeve moisture-wicking shirt, post-race refreshments and a souvenir medal. Custom awards go to the top five men and women across the line, and a shuttle runs from the finish area to the Hot Springs parking areas. Winter trails in Arkansas can be damp and leaf-covered, so wear shoes with reliable grip and watch your footing on descents.
