Hope in Every Step 5K

The Hope in Every Step 5K is a run or walk at Ottawa Metro Park in Lima, Ohio, on September 4, 2027: the 5K starts at 9:00 a.m., followed by a 0.5K community walk at 9:05 a.m. It benefits the Awakenings Victim Outreach program of the Area Agency on Aging 3, which supports older adults who are victims of abuse, neglect and exploitation.

Participants will also help raise awareness of fall prevention and of the annual “10 Million Steps to Prevent Falls” campaign, which promotes healthy aging. The event is open to all fitness levels, and registration fees help fund essential resources for vulnerable people.
