About
#HonorConnor in Charles City offers a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a quarter marathon and a 5K, all starting at 7:30 a.m. on June 12, 2027. The event honors Connor James Smith and supports SCN8A families by providing grants for special-needs children, equipment and therapies.
Participants can sign up to take part in person or virtually. In-person finishers receive an official time, a finisher's medal and a drink at the finish. Virtual participants have one week to complete their distance and also receive a medal. It is a meaningful way to remember Connor while supporting a cause close to his heart.
