The Hometown Half Marathon and 5K/10K in Memphis, Tennessee, is a family-friendly running event held in late May, with a half marathon (13.1 miles), a 10K, a 5K, a 1-mile run and a kids' race, all starting at 7:00 a.m. Each participant receives a custom bib, a designer shirt and a finisher medal.

Chip timing, live results, pace leaders and free photos are provided, with treats at the finish and a virtual option for those who cannot attend. Youth pricing applies to certain races. The kids' race, for children aged 10 and under, comes with a bib, a shirt and a medal, and families can choose a free entry without the giveaways. The Mississippi River valley is humid in late May, so drink early and often.
