Hometown Half Marathon and 5K/10K - Fayetteville

The Hometown Half Marathon and 5K/10K in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is a locally themed late-May event meant for the whole family. The half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, 5K, 1-mile run and kids' dash all start at 7:00 a.m. Participants receive a designer shirt, a custom medal and chip timing with live results, plus awards.

Professional pace leaders are on the course, and treats are waiting at the finish along with free photos. For anyone unable to attend, a virtual race lets you run wherever and whenever you like while still receiving the event items. Youth pricing is available for younger runners. In the Ozarks, even an early morning can be warm and humid by late May, and the hills around Fayetteville can make the half marathon harder than the distance suggests.
