The Hiawatha Fall Trail Run gives runners the chance to race through scenic forests and rugged peaks in Taft, Montana.

The course runs through historic railroad tunnels, offering a unique challenge for experienced runners and outdoor enthusiasts alike. It's a rare chance to run a trail spanning Montana and Idaho that's normally reserved for cyclists. Runners get a special day dedicated to running, complete with trestle bridges, waterfalls, and long railroad tunnels opened up to foot traffic. Distance options include a 10K, a half marathon (13.1 miles), and a marathon (26.2 miles).
