The Heatwave Half Marathon - Dallas is a family-friendly endurance event in Dallas featuring a half marathon, a 10K and a 5K. The half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), half marathon relay, 10K (6.2 miles), 5K (3.1 miles), 1-mile (1.6 km) race and Kids Dash (50 m) all start at 7:00 a.m. on July 31, 2027.

The races are chip-timed, with live results and awards, free event photos and complimentary ice cream at the finish. Participants receive a personalized bib, a designer T-shirt and a finisher medal. A virtual option is available, along with reduced rates for young participants. The untimed 1-mile run and the kids' race round out the program; the kids' race comes with special goodies, or can be entered for free without them.
