Hawk Hundred is a trail ultra held in Lawrence, Kansas, on September 12, 2026. Three formats are offered on the same day: a 100 Miler (160.9 km), a 50 Miler (80.5 km) and a Marathon (26.2 miles), all on trails.

This lineup lets runners of very different backgrounds share the same day. The trail marathon suits anyone with road-marathon experience who wants to move onto dirt, the 50-mile is the natural next step after a 50K, and the 100-mile is a full night-and-day effort for runners with prior ultra finishes. For the two long distances, a 20-week build with back-to-back long runs, fueling practice and at least one headlamp session is the standard recipe; for the marathon, 16 weeks of consistent mileage with weekly trail long runs will do the job. Mid-September in Kansas can be warm, so train in the heat when possible.
