Haunted Jaunt 5K & 10K Trail Races

Haunted Jaunt 5K & 10K Trail Races are held on October 24, 2026 in Lawrence, Kansas, with both the 5K and the 10K starting at 6:30 p.m. These are trail races, and an evening start in late October means you will be finishing in fading light or in the dark, so a headlamp counts as standard equipment rather than a nice-to-have. If you have never tried it, take the 5K and run a couple of easy evening sessions on trail beforehand to get used to the light. Experienced trail runners will find the 10K a better test of footwork and steady pacing.
