About

The Hamptons Marathon takes place in Southampton, at the eastern end of Long Island, New York, on September 25, 2027. Three distances are on offer: a 5K, a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) and the full marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km), the latter with about 656 feet (200 m) of elevation gain.

The course takes in some of the area's finest scenery, following wooded roads and running past beautiful beaches on a mostly flat, fast route with a few rolling sections. Sea air and the coastal setting accompany runners throughout, whatever the distance, with spectators cheering along the course.
