About

Halloween Trick or Trot Run 5K/10K/13.1 MIAMI is run in Key Biscayne, Florida, on October 31, 2026. The half marathon (13.1 miles), the 10K, the 5K and a family one-mile fun run all start at 7:30 a.m. The annual race combines competition with Halloween atmosphere, is open to every level, and gives finishers a runner shirt and a finisher medal.

South Florida stays humid into the fall, so treat your goal pace as a ceiling rather than a promise and take fluid early on the half marathon. Runners who want a personal best will find the shorter distances more forgiving of the conditions. Wave starts are limited in size, complimentary refreshments are served at the finish, and a virtual option means you can still record the effort if you cannot be there on the day.
