Half CRAZY Half Marathon and 5K

Half CRAZY Half Marathon and 5K takes place in Mineral Wells, Texas, on November 7, 2026. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 8 a.m., the 5K at 9 a.m. and a one-mile fun run at 9:10 a.m. The USATF-certified course begins near the CRAZY Water sign and runs through town and into the scenic hills of Palo Pinto County, with views of the historic Baker Hotel. All ages are welcome, medals and shirts are part of the deal, and cash prizes go to the men's and women's half marathon winners.

Hills over 13.1 miles change how you pace, so run the climbs by effort and let the descents come back to you rather than forcing them. A 12 to 16 week build with a weekly long run reaching 11 or 12 miles, including some rolling terrain, prepares you properly for this one.
