GTC Green Valley Road Race

GTC Green Valley Road Race is held at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, on February 6, 2027. The 10-mile race starts at 8:00 a.m. on a demanding course, and a more approachable 5-mile race follows at 8:30 a.m. through local neighborhoods. Both routes are well marked and accurately measured, with restrooms and a pavilion on site.

Organized by the Greenville Track Club, this has the feel of a proper club race rather than a festival event: the emphasis is on a fair course and an honest result. Ten miles is a useful marker if you have a spring half marathon planned — it tells you almost everything about your fitness at four weeks out. Entrants receive a hoodie for the 10-mile and a long-sleeve shirt for the 5-mile, while supplies last.
