The Grizzly Peak Trail Run takes place in the hills above Berkeley, listed under Contra Costa Centre, California, in early May. The event starts at Lake Anza and runs through Tilden Regional Park, known for its panoramic views and lush scenery. Five trail distances are offered: a 50K (31 miles), a marathon (26.2 miles), a 30K (18.6 miles), a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a 10K, with the longer races starting at 8:00 a.m. and the 10K at 8:30.
