About

The Guernsey County Crossroads Marathon & Half Marathon takes place in Cambridge, Ohio, in mid-May, and features the Great Guernsey Trail. The marathon (26.2 miles) and half marathon (13.1 miles) both start at 7:00 a.m., and a 5K is also listed. Professional chip timing is used, and proceeds go to local trail and park development projects.

The scenic course runs along Leatherwood Creek on a flat, paved trail, with water, fruit and refreshments available at various points. Trophies go to the overall winners and medals to the top finishers in several age groups, while every finisher receives a custom medal. The event is affiliated with RUNColumbus, and both pre-race and on-site registration are offered. A flat rail-trail course suits runners aiming for a steady, even marathon.
