The Governor's Cup welcomes runners to Helena, Montana, for a celebration of endurance sports in the scenic setting of the Treasure State's capital and the surrounding countryside. On June 12, 2027, the program includes a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) at 7:30 a.m., a mile run at 8:00 a.m., a 10K (6.2 miles) at 9:00 a.m. and a 5K (3.1 miles) at 10:00 a.m.

Founded in 1974, it is one of the oldest events in the state. It caters to families, recreational runners and elite athletes looking to compete and embrace a healthy lifestyle, in a family atmosphere and a charming city steeped in history.
