About

The Golden Harvest Half Marathon & 5k/10k - Milwaukee is held in South Milwaukee on September 18, 2027, with a mass start at 9 a.m. Five races are on the program: the half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a 10K, a 5K, a 1-mile run and a 100 m Kid's Dash for children ten and under. Organizers provide chip timing, live results, half marathon pacers, finish-line refreshments, a T-shirt and a medal.

A 9 a.m. start leaves time to get ready without getting up in the middle of the night, which is welcome for runners traveling from afar. It does mean a longer gap between breakfast and the race, so a light snack an hour before the start helps avoid running on an empty stomach. The 5K and the mile suit families, the 10K regular runners, and the half marathon those who built their endurance over the summer.
