About

The Gleaners Hunger Free Summer Race is a 5K run/walk held in Brighton on June 19, 2027, organized by Gleaners Community Food Bank in support of its mission to ensure food security across Southeast Michigan. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m., followed by a 1-mile fun run/walk at 8:35 a.m.

The event helps children who lose access to meals during school vacations by providing meals through donations. Awards go to the top finishers, and the race is professionally timed on a cross-country course. Plenty of parking and several bib pickup options are available.
