La Girlfriends Run est un événement annuel conçu pour permettre aux femmes de se réunir afin de soutenir une cause importante pour elles. Il a été lancé en l'honneur de Joleen Skarberg, qui a été diagnostiquée d'un cancer du sein et qui y participe chaque année. L'événement encourage la pratique mixte de la course et de la marche, et accueille des participantes de tous niveaux. Au fil des ans, les Girlfriends et la Pink Brigade ont récolté des fonds considérables pour des œuvres caritatives.
