The George Freedom Days Run is a 5K (3.1 miles) in George, Iowa, held on July 4, 2027, with an 8:00 a.m. start. It showcases the town's recreational trail, starting and finishing at Locker Park, and proceeds go toward improving the trail network.

Most of the course runs along the city trail, with panoramic views of residential areas, campgrounds, wooded areas and fields. For those who prefer something less intense, there is a relaxed, untimed 1.25-mile (2 km) walk that ends at the same finish line. Participants in both events receive a T-shirt and refreshments.
