About

The FTC Short and Long Trail Run takes place in Alachua, Florida, on September 11, 2027, in San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park, with check-in at the park's north entrance. Two loops start together at 8:00 a.m.: the 8.3-mile (13.4 km) Long Trail Run and the 3.8-mile (about 6 km) Short Trail Run.

The short loop works as an introduction to trail running or a tempo workout, while the long loop calls for experience on uneven footing and careful pacing. Awards go to the top men and women and to each 10-year age group, and refreshments await finishers. Florida Track Club members can enter for free with a code. A parking fee applies, except for Florida State Park pass holders.
