About

The Four Leaf Clover Run is a returning event in Akron that supports cancer patients in Northeast Ohio, with a 4-mile (6.4 km) run/walk and a half-mile family fun run, both starting at 10:00 a.m. on September 11, 2027.

The course runs through the West Hill neighborhoods and historic Glendale Cemetery before finishing at John Cistone Field at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. A participant party follows, with live music, refreshments, a barbecue and an awards ceremony recognizing overall, age-group and fundraising performances. Every participant receives a commemorative gift, a race T-shirt, a goodie bag, a barbecue meal and, for those 21 and over, a beer ticket.
