About

Fort Worth Marathon spans November 7–8, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas. The 10K (7:30 a.m.) and the 5K (7:45 a.m.) run on Saturday; the marathon (26.2 miles) goes off at 6 a.m. Sunday, with a 20-mile route and the half marathon (13.1 miles) at 7:30 a.m. The USATF-certified course is flat and fast, following the Trinity River, crossing Overton Park and entering the Colonial neighborhood.

It is built for runners chasing a Boston qualifying time, and the 20-mile route is an unusual, genuinely useful option when you want a fully supported long run instead of a race. Every entrant gets a performance shirt, a personalized bib and a finisher medal, and the celebration in Trinity Park brings food, craft beer, music and raffles. Give the marathon 16 to 18 weeks with a weekly long run and steady marathon-pace work.
