About

The Forest Frolic Trail Race & Hike takes place at Findley State Park in Wellington on July 10, 2027, with a 10K trail run (6.2 miles), a 5K trail run, a 1-mile fun run and a 5K trail hike, all starting at 9 a.m.

The event combines a race and a hike in a scenic natural setting with creeks, overlooks and varied terrain. It raises funds for The Friends of Findley State Park to support park improvements and educational initiatives. Participants receive a T-shirt, a goodie bag and a locally made medal, along with refreshments at the finish. There are men's and women's categories across several age groups, and the registration fee varies by race format.
