About

The Flying Colors Charity Fun Run in Winston-Salem, put on by the PACU Foundation, is a community event with a 5K (3.1 miles) run and a laid-back 1.5-mile (2.4 km) fun run/walk where participants get doused in colored powder along the course. It takes place on June 12, 2027: the 5K starts at 8:00 a.m. and the fun run/walk at 8:15 a.m.

Participants receive an event T-shirt, which ends up dyed in bright colors. Games, face painting and local food trucks round out the day. The PACU Foundation supports charitable giving to improve financial literacy and provide educational and emergency assistance to people facing financial hardship in the Triad and Charlotte areas.
