About

The First State Trail Race in Wilmington offers a 50K (31 miles), a 25K (15.5 miles) and a 10K, all starting at 8:00 a.m. on May 16, 2027. Part of the USATF Mid-Atlantic Off-Road series, it takes place in beautiful Brandywine Creek State Park and First State National Historical Park.

The event offers a challenge for runners of all levels through hills, farmland and woods, with panoramic views and wildlife encounters along the way. Participants can expect varied, demanding terrain, post-race refreshments and a friendly atmosphere, along with a unique chance to discover the natural beauty of the Brandywine Valley.
