About
The Fillmore 5k in Cascade is held at Fillmore Golf Course on September 18, 2027, starting at 8 a.m., on the same course used for high school cross country meets. This challenging 5K (3.1 miles) raises money for Dubuque County Conservation, with all registration fees going to conservation and trail maintenance projects.
The volunteer-run event uses chip timing. There is a water stop on the course, and finishers are treated to water, bananas and chocolate milk. Special awards go to the top male and female finishers and to the top runners in each age group, and participants receive a tri-blend T-shirt.
