About

The Fiesta de Mayo Half Marathon takes place in Irving, Texas, in the Dallas area, in mid-May. It is a USATF-certified race with a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a 10K at 7:00 a.m. and a 5K at 7:20. The scenic route goes through downtown Las Colinas.

Runners can look forward to cash prizes, professional race photos, personalized gear, chip timing, live tracking and age-group awards. A post-race party offers food, drinks and entertainment, and VIP upgrades are available. Proceeds go to the Irving Schools Foundation, which funds meals, school supplies and scholarships for local children. Texas heat builds quickly in May, so that early start is a real advantage.
