The Fairmont Triathlon and Run for the Bacon 5K takes place at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont on June 20, 2027. The program features a sprint triathlon (0.3-mile swim, 12.4-mile / 20 km bike and 5K run) starting at 8:30 a.m., team relay divisions, and a 5K at 9 a.m.

Medals and trophies go to the top finishers. A kids' triathlon for ages 5 to 15 is held at the Fairmont Aquatic Park, with race formats tailored to each age group; young athletes receive ribbons and T-shirts, and race-day registration is available for the youth event. Registering before the posted deadline guarantees a T-shirt. Packet pickup is at the Gomsrud Park Picnic Shelter on race morning.
