EverBe Spooktacular Sprint 5K

EverBe Spooktacular Sprint 5K is held in Orlando, Florida on October 24, 2026, with the 5K starting at 9:00 a.m. It is the only distance on the schedule, run in the EverBe community with a Halloween theme in the week before the holiday.

A neighborhood 5K in late October is a natural first race, and the costume angle keeps the mood light. Running 3.1 miles in costume is harder than it sounds, though — anything with a mask or a full-body layer will slow you down more than you expect, so keep it minimal if you also want a decent time. Runners taking it seriously should get 15 minutes of easy jogging and a few strides in beforehand; the 5K is over quickly and you do not want to spend the first mile warming up.
