Proceeds benefit the Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Foundation and the Ed Dupree Memorial Scholarship for senior athletes at East Rowan High School. Awards include a scholarship for selected students and trophies for the top runners in each age group. Participants receive a T-shirt, and every fun run participant gets a medal.
