About

The Easter Run for Hope Philadelphia takes place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in mid-April, in a festive atmosphere where costumes are encouraged. Three distances are on the program: a 5K (3.1 miles), a 10K (6.2 miles) and a half marathon (13.1 miles). A themed race is a good way to bring friends and family together, since the costume element takes pressure off finish times. Anyone planning to wear a costume over 13.1 miles should test it on a training run first, and shoes should be broken in. Early spring weather in Philadelphia can swing from cool to mild.
