The Dwight Harvest Days 5k Run / 3k Fun Run/Walk is an annual race held as part of the Dwight Harvest Days festival in Dwight, with the 5K (3.1 miles) and the 3K (1.9 miles) starting at 8:30 a.m. on September 18, 2027. Part of the Starved Rock Runner circuit, it is run on a flat, fast, well-marked course certified by USA Track & Field, with police traffic control and accurate timing points.

Chip timing is available, and restrooms and refreshments are provided after the race. Every 5K finisher receives a medal, and awards go to the top runners in various categories. Registration includes a T-shirt and a medal for those who sign up before the stated deadline.
