About

The Drug Demand Reduction 5K is a 5K run/walk in Cleveland, organized by the Greater Cleveland Young Marines to promote drug-free communities. On October 9, 2027, the 5K and a 1-mile walk both start at 9:00 a.m. at the Greater Cleveland Young Marines Drill Center.

The event features chip timing, custom medals, T-shirts and post-race refreshments, with awards for the top finishers in each age group. A Trunk or Treat follows the race, with decorated trunks and candy handed out. The initiative supports the Young Marines' drug demand reduction mission.
