The Dino Stomp Out Kids Cancer 5K & 1 Mile takes place at Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose on June 5, 2027, with the 5K (3.1 miles) at 8:00 a.m. and the 1-mile race at 8:05 a.m. This family run/walk raises money for children fighting cancer.

Organized by Brooke's Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation, the event lets participants enjoy trails near the Paluxy River, alongside real dinosaur tracks. It features a fun run and a longer course with age group awards. Kids receive a free kite for a post-race kite-flying session, and medals go to the top finishers. The day is open to everyone, whatever their age or fitness level.
