About

The Demarest 5K is a community 5K in Demarest, in the Northern Valley, held on May 16, 2027, at 9:30 a.m. It welcomes runners and spectators of all ages, from families and kids to experienced local runners, and also features a 1-mile fun run open to everyone.

Ahead of race day, the Principal's Challenge takes place in Demarest's elementary schools, where students from kindergarten through 4th grade train with their principal and coaches. The program builds healthy habits and sportsmanship and culminates with the students running the 5K alongside the community.
