About

The DECU Glow Run, presented by Fleet Feet, is a nighttime 5K at Forsyth Park in Forsyth, Illinois, just outside Decatur. The 10th annual edition takes place on Thursday, June 17, 2027: a new Glow Walk starts at 7:30 p.m. and the run starts at 8 p.m. Proceeds from the 2027 race benefit the Empowerment Opportunity Center.

The 3.1-mile course is lit and marked. It starts and finishes by the tennis courts and loops around the park, mostly on the bike path and sidewalks. Register by May 31 to be guaranteed a t-shirt and glow gear. There is a "Brightest Glow" contest, medals for the first-place finisher in each division, and post-race food for all participants.
