The Day of the Dead Half Marathon - Waco, in Waco, Texas, is an endurance event inspired by Día de los Muertos traditions. Based at Indian Spring Park, it offers a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a quarter marathon (6.55 miles / 10.5 km), a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 1 Mile Run, all starting at 8:00 a.m. on October 10, 2027.

The course follows trails and parks along the local greenbelt, over varied terrain. Participants are encouraged to wear festive costumes, with a contest for the most colorful outfit. The event wraps up with a post-race gathering featuring music, awards for the top finishers, and traditional Mexican food and drinks.
