The Day of the Dead Half Marathon - Shreveport is set for October 3, 2027, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Four distances start together at 8:00 a.m.: the half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), quarter marathon (6.55 miles / 10.5 km), 5K and mile. Put on by Bigfoot Running Company, the race runs through local parks and features a costume contest before the start, then a celebration with live music and Mexican food after the finish. Aid stations are spaced along the course.
