CT LEO Memorial Run

CT LEO Memorial Run is a chip-timed, USATF-certified 5K in Middletown, Connecticut, starting at 10:00 a.m. on October 25, 2026. The course is a single city loop that begins and ends at the Wadsworth Mansion and includes hills. Road signs mark the route, and although the Middletown Police Department manages traffic, you still need to stay alert for vehicles. There are no water or aid stations on course; refreshments are available afterwards.

Plan to run it self-supported, which for 3.1 miles simply means drinking before and after and carrying nothing. Certification matters if you care about the number, since a USATF-certified 5K is a legitimate place to record a time, though the hills will cost you against a flat course. Pace the climbs by effort and take the difference back on the descents.
