Course au Paradis

The Course au Paradis takes place on 29 May 2027 in Stratená, a village nestled on the southern side of Slovak Paradise National Park (Slovenský raj), in the Košice Region. This friendly nature and mountain event offers several trail formats, a half marathon (21 km), a 10 km and a 5 km, along with a 5 km Nordic walk and races for children.

The route runs through dense forest and deep valleys and follows the Hnilec river, in an unspoilt setting with the clean air typical of the massif. The area features the limestone terrain characteristic of the region, between canyons and peaks, which makes the course technical in places. The emphasis is on immersion in nature rather than pure performance, in one of Slovakia's best-loved national parks.
